UAE Condemns Deadly Terrorist Attack in Northeastern Nigeria

Abuja, Nigeria – September 10, 2025 –

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack that struck the village of Dar el-Jamal in northeastern Nigeria, leaving dozens dead and many others injured.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep condolences to the Nigerian government and people, as well as to the families of the victims. The Ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s firm stance against all forms of terrorism, violence, and extremism that threaten security and stability.

“The UAE rejects all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at destabilizing societies and undermining peace,” the statement read.

The Ministry also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack and reiterated its solidarity with Nigeria in the ongoing fight against terrorism.

The attack in Dar el-Jamal has drawn widespread condemnation both within and outside Nigeria, with leaders calling for stronger international collaboration to combat extremist threats in the region.

Security analysts note that northeastern Nigeria continues to face sporadic attacks from armed groups, despite ongoing military efforts to restore peace and stability.
